“The object isn’t to make art,it’s to be in that wonderful statewhich makes art inevitable.” Robert Henri

 Bio

For me Psychotherapy is an art form, one that turns the promise of reality into being. Every conversation is a chance to test, review, practice and engage with the art of making living life lighter…

About Michael:
I am a warm, compassionate and experienced therapist that uses analogy, metaphor and personal insights to inform the work of psychotherapy. Psychotherapy came as a result of trying a number of different roles in a range of settings including, youth work, basketball coaching, mentoring at 2 high schools, provision of psychotherapy at a range of settings including a Drs. surgery, schools and at a number of prisons. My practice makes use of my background and culture both African and Caribbean. Originally from London UK. I have supported clients including couples, families and individuals to work through life’s challenging transitions that have included: aging, immigration, finding meaningful work, consideration of cultural identity and exploring what this may mean living in Canada. I am committed to providing those that work for me to heal from past wounds. My practice as a psychotherapist supports you in the initial meetings to feel understood, seen, valued and heard. As an experienced psychotherapist I work hard to provide a meaningful connection to the work.

My psychotherapeutic approach is integrative and make use of a number of counselling theories to create a bespoke approach that supports clients on their psychotherapeutic journey. As mentioned earlier I enjoy all forms of art and work psychotherapeutically to enable clients to remove past hurts to discover their creative expression.

I work with clients using a person centred and human to human relational understanding of the concern, followed by a psychodynamic development of their principle schema presentation. EMDR and trauma-informed counselling approaches are also a part of my methodology. I am fascinated by client’s formation of solutions around complex problems that may have become stuck and are increasing difficulty. My interest is in working with individuals who are committed to navigating a way beyond their set of challenges who are as curious and courageous to move forward as I will be in the therapeutic process. I enjoy the arrival of creativity in supporting solutions to long held client challenges. My belief is that our work together can find peace in your life no matter how long it has been hiding!

About Anna

I value the courage it takes to show up to a therapeutic space and honour this with commitment to providing a non-judgmental  and empathetic space that allows a person to be seen and to share their story. Relationships play a crucial role in our lives. In therapy, relationships are equally important as they create a safe and trusting environment that is built on trust, empathy, and understanding. Together, we can create a plan that is tailored specifically for you as well as your needs to meet your goals and improve your sense of well-being.

As a therapist, I believe in the power of integrating a variety of coping strategies and techniques to best support individuals and families. Each person is unique and may respond differently to different approaches, which is why flexibility and listening to the approach that resonates with a client is key.  I recognize the importance of meeting people where they are and embracing diverse approaches to seeking solutions.

About Chloe:

Let’s Shift Perspectives & get Curiously Connected –

 I came into this work through my own lived experience with mental health, identity, ADHD, family dynamics, and the pressure of expectations. I know the difference it makes to finally feel clarity, be supported, and ready for real change.

My holistic approach blends counselling psychology, Internal Family Systems, brain spotting; with grounded honesty, curiosity, and compassion. Whether individually or with couples, I focus on helping people understand their patterns, reconnect with their strengths, and create meaningful shifts.

I tell it how it is—no sugar coating, no fluff. If you keep getting in your own way, we’re going to name it. We’re not here to blame your parents, past relationships, friends, or society. We’re here to understand the impact those experiences had on you—how they shaped the way you think, react, and carry yourself today. From there, we sift, sort, and shift—perspectives of the world, your inner and outer life—staying curiously connected as we do the work. Underneath all the stress, burnout, anger, and self-doubt—you’re still in there. This isn’t about fixing you—it’s about creating space to explore, heal, and align with who you really are.

Areas of Practice;

anger, anxiety, ADHD, depression, burnout, trauma, relationship issues, self-harm/suicidal ideation, behavioural issues, PTSD, self-esteem/confidence, couples therapy, corporate consulting/coaching, life coaching, or simply the weight of carrying too much on your own, this work helps you untangle the layers and see yourself clearly

Modalities;

Psychodynamic, Gottman Method for Couples, IFS, Brain Spotting, psycho-education, solution-based therapy, holistic

Quote: “You hold the pen — and when you’re ready, a new chapter is always possible.”

 Bio

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), my clinical work is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), a collaborative approach that supports clients in understanding the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Together, we explore patterns that may no longer serve them and work toward developing more adaptive ways of thinking and responding. I strive to create a safe and collaborative space where people feel empowered to explore their story and define what meaningful change looks like for them. Outside of my work, I enjoy long walks with my dog Bella, spending time with friends and family, travelling, and contributing to community initiatives through volunteer work.

“It’s not the case that people can just walk in off the street, sit down, and develop mindfulness. It takes the ability to look at your life and make some decisions about how you’re going to live, and how you understand the best way of living. That’s when mindfulness has a chance” -Thanissaro Bhikkhu

Hi, I’m Matt and I am based in Toronto. Most of my therapeutic focus is in Mindfulness based approaches, utilizing Buddhist psychology to inform my practice and helping clients from different backgrounds. I also borrow from a variety of different methods including DBT, IFS and SFBT in order to have a more balanced set of skills to find what is most suitable for each specific person.
